iMDS Database Setup Tool
This unique database setup tool allows diagnostic engineers to change or reconfigure the iMDS or any IAC machinery diagnostic system data acquisition and processing configuration without recompiling the software. This provides iMDS Database Setup Tool users with a tremendous time and cost advantage over traditional DSP based acquisition systems.
Both iMDS and all IAC machinery diagnostic systems configurations are controlled by diagnostic setups stored in the iMDS Microsoft Access® software database resident in all data acquisition systems (DAS) or in the optional SQL database (1047 iMDSServer software sold separately).
These setups control all aspects of measurement and diagnostic processing. This unique feature allows all DAS systems to be configured for machine specific diagnostic setups using a library of powerful diagnostic algorithms.
The iMDS Database Setup Tool allows a user to:
- Easily change or modify database setup files. This allows measurements and diagnostic processing configuration without the need to upload new object code.
- Create a new machinery setup in a DAS Access® or SQL Server Database
- Modify (edit) an existing Machinery setup in a DAS Access® database
- Export / Import Database Setups between systems
